AL factional clash leaves one particular dead in Chattogram
A man was killed in a clash between two factions of Awami League in Chattogram on Tuesday centering the upcoming city corporation elections.
The deceased was determined as Ajgar Ali Babul, 55, a resident of Pathantuli area in the city.
Double Mooring Police Station officer-in-demand Sadip Kumar Das said supporters of an AL- backed councilor prospect and a rebel candidate exchanged gunfire during a clash in the area at about 8.15pm, leaving Ajgar Ali Babul dead on the spot
Another youth who sustained bullet wound was admitted to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital following the clash, the cop said.
