Chattogram gentleman held for ‘raping’ 7-year-old cousin
Regulations enforcers have arrested a man for “raping” his seven-year-old cousin in Chattogram city’s Baluar Dighi.
The 20-year-old accused, Rupon Dey, works at a restaurant in Madarbari of the port city.
Kotwali Law enforcement Station Officer-in-Fee Mohammad Mohsin explained Rupon visited his aunt’s house on Baluar Dighi previous Friday.
“His aunt had not been at home in those days. And the seven-year-old girl’s dad was sleeping in another place. Seeing that there is nobody else inside your home Rupon sexually assaulted his cousin.”
The seven-year-old informed her mother everything when she returned residence that evening. And the girl’s parents then had taken her to Chittagong Medical College Hospital on Saturday.
Her father filed a good case with Kotwali Police Station at night on that evening. OC Mohsin explained Kotwali police launched a drive from then on.
“Rupon was hiding found in the city’s Sholashahar on Sunday and was first arrested during a nights raid,” he said.
