'Drug peddler' killed in Dhaka 'shootout'
A suspected drug dealer was killed in a 'gunfight' with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members in Dhaka's Khilkhet area early Tuesday.
Deceased Anwar Hossain, 34, was a listed drug traders, the RAB sources confirmed.
ASP Mizanur Rahman (Legal and Media Wing) said a gunfight took place between a gang of drug traders and a team of the elite force in Barura area at early hours during a drive.
The RAB team, later, found the body of Anwar on the scene.
They also recovered 34 cat ridges and huge amount of Yaba from the scene.
