Dhaka's air quality ranks worst, situation critical
Bangladesh's capital Dhaka ranked the worst in Air Quality Index for last few days, said the Environment Minister, adding, "The situation is very critical."
An iner-ministerial meeting is being held at the ministry on Monday to decide the way out from the situation.
Representatives from ministries concerned, two city corporations and physicians are participating in the meeting.
In 2018, Bangladesh was the most polluted country in the world while Dhaka second worst polluted among the capital cities.
