Couple electrocuted in Dhaka
A man and his wife died from electrocution in Dhaka's Jatrabari area early Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Jahangir Hossain and his wife Aklima Akhter.
Jatrabari Police station OC Majharul Islam said Aklima was electrocuted when she bathing at home in Momenbag at early hours.
Hearing her cry, Jahangir rushed in and he was also was electrocuted.
They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared the duo dead.
The bodies were kept at the hospital morgue, the OC said.
