Despite of all negativity,it,s a positive character:Prosum
Renowned TV actor, model and director Prosun Azad has been away from Dhallywood for quite some times. She was last seen in a guest appearance in the action movie Musafir (2016).

Later she worked in two films titled 'Mrittupuri' and 'Bhola'; however, none of the films were released yet. After that, she became regular in television production but disappeared from big screen.

Now this Lux Channel I Superstar is returning to the big screen after a long hiatus. She is going to act in a Liberation War based film titled 'Uttoron'. The film will be directed by independent film maker Arif Russel.  About the film this actress said, "Everything is final. I have not signed the film yet but I never thought I would be able to get such a character. That's why I am so much interested about the film."

However, she did not disclose anything about her character in the film. Putting some cover of mystery she hinted, "Despite all negativity, it is a positive character." The shooting of the film will begin soon. The casting is not finished yet, informed the actress.

Prosun started her career with the Lux Channel I Superstar in 2012. She finished third in the competition. Her first film was 'Ochena Hridoy' by Shafiqul Islam Khan in 2014, and her second film was 'Sorbonasha Yaba' co-starring Kazi Maruf. She criticized Bangladesh films for largely catering to the male view.

In December 2016, Azad had got into a fight with director Rokeya Prachy. After the spat Prachi filed a complaint with the Director's Guild of Bangladesh. The Guild banned their members from working with Azad for one year. Later, she returned to acting in 2017.
