Mahiya Mahi to rule this Eid-ul-Azha
It wasn't long ago when Mahiya Mahi's film used to get released every Eid. After stepping out of Jaaz Multimedia, it had stopped. After a long three years, finally this upcoming Eid-ul-Azha will see Mahi in celluloid. Not only one, but this Eid, Mahi's two film will be released.
The films that are on the list of release in the upcoming Eid are 'Captain Khan', 'Beporoa', 'Mone Rekho', 'Jannat', 'Amar Prem Amar Priya' and 'Matal'. However, there is doubt about the release of all these movies. Among the list, Mahi is featured in two films, 'Jannat' and 'Mone Rekho'.
Mahi hopes that her movies will be in the center of attraction among her fans. "It has been a long time that any of my films are not getting released in Eid festivals. In the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, two of my films are going to be released. It is obviously a great news for me.
I hope that my fans will love these films and they will be entertained."In 'Jannat', Saimon Sadik will be seen opposite Mahi whereas Kolkata's Bony Sengupta will be seen opposite her in 'Mone Rekho'. The films are directed by Mostafizur Rahman Manik and Wazed Ali Sumon respectively.
News has that 'Mone Rekho' will be released in 40 cinema halls while 'Jannat' will be released in 35 halls in the first week of Eid-ul-Azha.
On the other hand, another film starring Mahiya Mahi 'Tui Shudhu Amar' is ready to hit West Bengal theaters this Eid-ul-Azha but yet to receive its clearance certificate from Bangladesh.
This India-Bangladesh joint venture film was denied by the joint-venture film preview committee as the film did not comply with guidelines of joint-venture film set by the government.
The film is jointly directed by Ananya Mamun and Indian filmmaker Joydeep Mukherjee, and produced by Action Cut Entertainment of Bangladesh and Indian production house SK Movies.
