Col Tofayel made RAB ADG
Colonel Tofayel Mustafa Sorwar of Bangladesh Army was appointed as the Additional Director General (ADG, Operations) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
RAB Legal & Media Wing Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews Saturday (June 29).
Colonel Tofayel Mustafa Sorwar served as deputy contingent commander (Banbat-5) in US mission in Mali.
He was promoted to the post of RAB ADG, to replace Col Md Jahangir Alam.
He was trained in Sierra Leone, UK, France, Italy, Belgium, Ivory Coast, Malaysia, Netherlands, Australia, India and US, alongside serving duty.
