Best Western Alliance due to open in Chattogram on Jan 31
Brand new international four-star hotel Best Western Alliance is set to open in the port city Chattogram on January 31.
With the new hotel, strategically located at Sena Kalyan Trade Center of the commercial area of the city Agrabad, the international chain will step foot in Chattogram for the first time having two hotels in Dhaka already.
Mamun Ur Rahman, Managing Director, Best Western Alliance, said, “This will be a new addition to Best Western’s portfolio in Bangladesh. We hope this hotel will be an exemplary new face of hospitality in Chattogram for both tourists and locals.”
This is going to be the only international four-star hotel in the port city, further mentioned the Managing Director.
The hotel has 88 rooms. There is a conference room on the sixth floor, a bar on the fifth, a swimming pool on the third and a coffee shop on the ground floor. Also, guests can enjoy a panoramic city view under the stars and open skies from the rooftop of the hotel.
Every year the number of tourist arrivals coming to Chattogram to visit the tourist destinations of the port city, hill tracts and Cox’s Bazar is increasing. The city is also witnessing an increase in arrivals of business travellers.
Thus, more and more EPZs, hotels as well as transit and transshipment managements in the port are being established.
This is leading to a rapid economic growth in Chattogram following which the Best Western group decided to enter the market and launch its brand new international four-star hotel in the port city by the end of this month.
