Ctg's train service with Dhaka-Sylhet restored after 7hrs
Chattogram's train communication with Dhaka and Sylhet resumed on Sunday morning after seven hours of disruption following a derailment.

The rail link became normal around 9am, Cumilla Railway Station top official assistant engineer Liakat Ali confirmed.

A Dhaka-bound train of Dhaka Express mail train veered off the tracks in Shashidal Railway Station area in  Brahmanpara upazila of Cumilla around 2am, the official said.

Two relief trains from Laksam and Brahmanbaria rushed to the scene and started salvage operation.

After ending the operation, the movement of the train on the routes became normal.
