Another batch of 3,000 Rohingyas likely to Bhasan Char
Another batch of some 3,000 Rohingyas are likely to Bhasan Char at Hatiya upazila on Noakhali district, under the 4th phase of Rohingya relocation, from Teknaf-Ukhiya refugee camp on Cox's Bazar.

The Rohingyas will be shifted to Bhasan Char on Sunday and Monday.

Some 2,000 Rohingyas and their belongings were brought to the transit stage of Ukhiya Degree University surface by 20 buses and trucks from Balukhali of Ukhiya, Mochni of Teknaf, Jadimora Camp on Saturday. The remaining 1,000 Rohingyas will be studied there at night.

They will be taken up to Chattogram first and then to Bhasan Char by the ocean on Sunday.

According to camp options, Rohingyas are becoming more and more interested in likely to Bhasan Char.

Meanwhile, those who had voluntarily submitted the list to the camp in-charge are likely to Bhasan Char on Sunday and Monday. Rules enforcing agencies and  the neighborhood administration are providing reliability and important assistance in this regard.

Earlier, about 11,000 Rohingya refugees were relocated to Bhasan Char below three phases. Besides, 306 Rohingyas who didn't enter Malaysia illegally by sea have already been rescued from the sea and sent there.

Hamidul Huque Chowdhury, chairman of the Rohingya Protyabason and Sangram Committee and chairman of the Ukhiya Upazila, said the mark was to relocate 1,00,000 Rohingyas from 34 camps on Ukhiya-Teknaf to Bhasan Char. Another batch of Rohingyas is being ready for relocating to Bhasan Char beneath the fifth phase by the last week of February.
