All local, mail, intercity train services suspended from Mar 26
All local, mail and intercity trains movement have already been suspended from Wednesday to regulate spread of novel coronavirus.
Sharif Ahmed, public relation officer of the Ministry of Railways, confirmed the problem on Tuesday morning.
Besides, Bangladesh Railway authorities have also been stopped selling tickets from March 26, said railway director general Md Shamsuzzaman.
He said, "Coronavirus is slowly spreading in Bangladesh like other countries. We will suspend all train services very soon. All local trains movement will be remain stopped from today."
