Maitree train service for 5 days a week, Bandhan for 2 days
Maitree Express is set to commute between Bangladesh and India for five days instead of four days in a bid to enhance communication.
For the same reason, Bandhan Express will run for two days instead of one day in a week, said a press release of Indian High Commission issued on Tuesday (February 4).
According to the release, the additional service of Maitree Express will start from February 11 (from Dhaka) and return on February 12 (from Kolkata).
However, the additional trip of Bandhan Express will commence on February (from Kolkata) and return Khulna on the same day, reads the release.
