500 BNP men sued over clash near HC
A case has been filed with Shahbagh Police Station against 500 BNP leaders and activists over vehicles vandalism and attack on police in front of the High Court on Tuesday.
Police filed the case on Tuesday night, OC Abul Hasan confirmed.
Some leaders and activists of BNP staged demonstration and sit-in programme in front of the HC on Tuesday afternoon demanding the release of party chief Khaleda Zia.
At on stage of demonstration, a chase and counter chase took place between the BNP men and police.
A number of vehicles have also been vandalised.
