2 killed in Dhaka shootout
Two suspected criminals were killed in a gun-battle with the members of detectives in Dhaka's Badda area early Thursday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Badda Police Station SI Abdur Rashid said the gunfight took place between a criminal gang and the members of Detective Branch (DB) of police at about 4:30am.
Later, DB found bullet-hit bodies, aged about 30 and 35.
The duo were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where they died around 6:10am.
