16 more infected with coronavirus in Naogaon
Sixteen more people were found infected with Covid-19 in the district within the last a day till Tuesday.
Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Manjur Morshed developed the information while talking to reporters on Wednesday.
Of the infected people, five members of a nurse’s family in Raninagar upazila were found positive for coronavirus, he said.
The neighborhood administration of the upazila put the whole family under lockdown.
Besides, three persons from Sapahar and Atrai upazilas, two each from Mahadebpur and Manda upazilas and one from Porsha upazila were among those infected in the last 24 hours, he added.
A complete of 17 people were found infected with the coronavirus till Tuesday.
