Lovers found hanging from tree in Naogaon
Police recovered bodies of two lovers of ethnic background in Patnitala upazila of the district on Saturday morning (August 31).
The deceased were identified as Jay Hemrom, 16, son of Sudhir Hemrom of Gupinagar of the upazila and Kajli Mormu, 17, daughter of Francis Mormu of the same village.
Locals informed police after spotting the bodies hanging from a tree of Eidgah ground at Gupinagar ethnic residential area in the morning. Later, police reached the spot and recovered the bodies. They had a long-held love affair, but why they committed suicide, this answer would be found after post-mortem, Porimol, officer-in-charge of Patnitala police station, told Banglanews.
