2 killed as bus topples over in Naogaon
NAOGAON: Two people were killed and 30 others injured as a picnic bus toppled over road in Naogaon on Thursday afternoon (February 15).
The deceased were identified as Zahidul Islam, 45 and Liton Ali, 42.
Naogaon sadar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Tariqul Islam told Banglanews that a picnic bus on its way back to Joypurhat carrying 60 teachers and students overturned near Tulshiganga bridge on Naogaon-Bogra bypass road leaving the duo dead on spot.
The injured were taken to Naogaon sadar hospital. Of the injured, four persons are in critical condition and sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
