Youth stabbed dead in Chattogram
A man was stabbed to death reportedly by his good friend over a trifling subject at Gobindarkhil in Patiya upazila on Tuesday night, reports UNB.
The victim was discovered as Jasim Uddin, 24, son of Zahir Ahmed of the upazila.
Quoting locals, police stated Jasim and his friend Emon had an altercation around 9:45 am above the payment of financing of Tk 150, borrowed by Emon.
At one stage, Emon stabbed Jasim indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured, stated Borhan Uddin, officer-in-charge of Patiya Police Station.
Afterwards, he was taken to Patiya Upazila Wellbeing Complex where doctors declared him dead.
