Woman killed in Dhanmondi building fire
A sexagenarian woman died from suffocation when a fire broke out in a flat of a residential building in city's Dhanmondi area on Saturday morning.
The fire originated on the second floor of a 12 storey-building at Dhanmodhi 6A residential area around 9:25am.
On information, three firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 10:20am.
The reason behind the fire could not be known yet.
