Truck kills college student in Dhaka
A college student was killed by a truck at Demra Staff Quarter area in the capital on Friday (December 13).
The accident happened at around 5 pm.
The deceased was--identified as Muzahidul Islam, 20, son of late Mahfuz Miah—taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in a critical condition, but on-duty doctors declared him dead at 6 pm.
Mufazzal Hossen, elder brother of the deceased, said Muzahidul was a 1st year student of HSC. He met with the accident while riding his friend’s bike.
Confirming the death, DMCH police outpost in-charge Bacchu Miah said dead body was kept in the morgue.
