Tangail road mishap kills 5
Five people were killed whenever a truck overturned on the road in Sadar upazila of Tangail on Saturday morning.
The accident occurred in Kandila area of Tangail highway around 6:45am that left 13 others also injured.
Tangail Fire Service and Civil Defence station master Shafiqul Islam said a Bogura-bound cement-laden truck with some passengers turned turtle on the highway when its driver lost control over the steering, leaving five dead on the scene and 13 injured.
The wounded were taken up to Tangail General Hospital.
