4 killed in Tangail road mishap
Four persons were killed whenever a pickup van turned turtle on the highway after being hit by a covered van in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail on Saturday.
Three others were also injured through the accident that occurred in Gorai area on the Dhaka-Tangail highway today.
The deceased were discovered as Jahanur, 18 wife of Sultan Miah, Tapon Chandra Das, 25, son of Amolya Chandra Das of Gaibandha, Marjina Begum, 27, wife of Al Amin of Tangail and Rasheda Begum of Rangpur.
Gorai Highway Law enforcement Station OC Md Maniruzzaman said a good covered van hit a good pickup van from at the rear of when the later 1 entered into Jui-Juthi Pump for petrol. Therefore, the pickup overturned, departing two lifeless on the picture and five others harmed.
Two others succumbed to their injuries at Mirzapur Kumudini Medical center around 1pm.
