2 pedestrians killed in Tangail road crash
Two pedestrians were killed after a truck ran over them in Dhanbari upazila of the district on Sunday (February 2).
The victims were identified as Humayun Kabir, 40, son of Surujjaman of Sarishabari upazila of Jamalpur and an unidentified man aged 45.
The accident happened on Tangail-Jamalpur road. Two pedestrians died on the spot. Dead bodies were sent to Sheikh Hasina Medical College Hospital in Tangail, Chand Miha, officer-in-charge of Dhanbari police station, told Banglanews.
