Tahmina Othoi in children film 'Chheleti Odbhut'
Tahmina Othoi champion of 'World Miss University 2017' started her acting career through noted director and actor late Saidul Anam Tutul-directed movie 'Kalbela'.
Before completing the works of the movie its director Tutul died. Actress Tahmina Othoi informed that dubbing of the film has been completed and other relevant works are going on. Now it is planning to release the movie in the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 2020. However, Tahmina Othoi is acting in a children movie for the first time. She has started shooting of Manik Manobik's movie 'Chheleti Odbhut'.
Tahmina Othoi also informed that 50 per cent of shooting of 'Odbhut Chheleti' has already been finished. She is playing the role of Moly in the movie. Within very soon shooting of its second phase will kick off.
Therefore, Othoi will also start shooting of Raihan Anwar's movie 'Chottola Express' where National Film Award winner actor Ferdous is scheduled to work against her.
While talking about working under Saidul Anam Tutul's direction Tahmina Othoi said, "Tutul Sir was a talented person with good human being. He was not only a noted director but also an actor. As he was expert in acting, so he could nicely demonstrate the actors during the shooting. I was lucky to get the opportunity to work with him. It feels pride to me."
In last Eid, Othoi acted in Manik Manobik's play 'Prem Jeno Ek Projapoti'. Therefore, Othoi also hosted Duronto TV's Ananda Utsab.
Othoi started hosting through Banglavision's Din Protidin. Hailed from Chandina of Cumilla, she completed Honors in Drama and Masters in Performing Arts from University of Chittagong.
