Shakila plays 'Tothyo Apa' in documentary
Young artiste Shakila Parvin mainly recognized as a model first came into limelight with her performance in the music video of singer Milon song's 'Tor Mon Paray'. Meanwhile, the music video has already been watched by 60 million viewers. Moreover, Shakila appeared in a tele-drama for the first time during last Eid.
In this drama titled 'Second-hand Husband', she played opposite popular actor-director Mir Sabbir. She performed well while playing a crucial role in the drama. This time around, Shakila has ventured into a different sector recently. She has involved herself in a government project for the first time. The model-actress will be seen playing the titular role in a documentary titled 'Tothyo Apa' directed by Nazmus Sadat.
In the documentary, Shakila as 'Tothyo Apa' will provide agriculture-related information to the village people. Also, she will share different types of important information, including internet use and its advantages, among the people in the rural area. Regarding her experience to work in the documentary, Shakila said, "This is my first involvement in anything related to the government.
I am very proud and happy for this, because these types of opportunities do not come very often. I am grateful to the director of 'Tothyo Apa', Nazmus Sadat. His whole team helped me to a great extent to complete the project smoothly. I am very hopeful about this project." 'Tothyo Apa' will be aired on different TV channels, including Bangladesh Television.
