Sadarghat building cave in: Another body recovered
Rescuers have found another body in the debris of a building that collapsed at Sadarghat in city's old part on Wednesday.
The body of Shafiqul was retrieved at midnight, said Fire Service and Civil Defence control room duty officer Rassel Shikder.
Rescue was called off around 1am on Thursday after the recovery of the second body, the fire service official said.
Around 8pm on Wednesday, the body of Jahed Ali, 60 was pulled out from the debris.
A two-storey building near Sumona Clinic at Patuatuli area caved in at about 1:30pm the same day.
Local people feared a man and his son got trapped inside but fire service sources could not confirm the matter.
