Fire at high-rise building near Dhaka New Market
A fire broke out at a high-rise building of Biswas Builders near Dhaka New Market on Friday night.
Fire Service and Civil Defense control room operator Md Azad said the fire broke out at the 2nd floor of the 22-strorey building around 10:50pm.
On information, seven firefighting units rushed to spot and doused the fire around 11:58 pm after frantic efforts.
However, no casualty was reported, Azad said adding that the reason behind the fire could not be ascertained immediately, reports UNB.
