Sacrificial animal waste to be removed by 24 hrs: Khokon
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon has asked the cleaners to remove the waste of sacrificial animals within 24 hours on the day of Eid-ul-Azha.
The mayor came up with the directives at a meeting with the cleaners held at Nagar Bhaban in the capital on Wednesday.
He said to the cleaners, "Last year, we became successful to remove the waste within 24 hours. This year, we could be? Every cleaners raised their hands." Then, Khokon asked them to clean the waste by 24 hours.
Cleaners and vehicle drivers of all wards under DSCC were present in the meeting.
