Rosey as villain for first time in film 'Poran'
National Film Award winner actress Rosey Siddiqui has already passed three decades of her acting career. For the first time, viewers will see her on the screen in role of a villain. She will be seen in this role in a film titled 'Poran', directed by Raihan Rafi.
Rosey has already finished her shooting from September 14 to 16 in Mymensingh. She acted in role of Daisy Sarkar in the film.
While talking about acting in this role Rosey said, "Earlier I got offer to play the role of villain in different times. Due to mismatch I could not acting in that role but I had intention to do it. I have liked the role, so I agreed to work. If I got its script earlier that would be better for me but I tried my level best in this regard.
Now viewers will give their judgment."Rosey also informed that Bidya Sinha Mim, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Shariful Raz, Yash Rohan, among others, also acted in 'Poran'.
Meanwhile, Rosey-starrer 'Maan Obhiman', 'Ghumonto Shohorey', 'Family Crisis' and 'Tumi Achho Tai 'serials are being aired in different TV channels now.
In 1989, Rosey first acted under late Momtaz Uddin Ahmed's direction in play 'Satghat-er Kanakori'. She started her acting career through this play. In 1990, she acted against late Khaled Khan in a play on BTV.
Goutam Ghosh's 'Padma Nodir Majhi' was her acted first movie. Later she acted in Kazi Hayat's movie 'Love Story'. Therefore, she also acted in movies 'Made In Bangladesh' and 'Shonkhochil'.
