‘Shapludu’ to hit countrywide cinemas on Sept 27
After a lot of speculations, director Golam Sohrab Dodul’s film ‘Shapludu’, starring National Film Award winning actress Bidya Sinha Mim and popular actor Arifin Shuvo, is going to hit countrywide cinemas on September 27.
DhakaLive has news that the action-thriller movie ‘Shapludu’ will be released at 25 cinema halls in the first phase across the country.
Making it big-screen directorial debut of popular small-screen director Golam Sohrab Dodul, the film was scheduled to be released on the occasion of last Pahela Baishakh. However, due to some complications, the film’s release date was postponed.
In the film, Mim has portrayed a unique role named Pushpo and according to the actress, it was one of her best performances till date.
Several renowned actors like Tariq Anam Khan, Salauddin Lavlu, Zahid Hasan, and Shatabdi Wadud, among others, are also starring in the film.
‘Shapludu’ has been shot in several locations in Dhaka, Bandarban, Rangamati and Cox’s Bazar.
