Poppy again in title role in 'Yes Madam'
National Film Award winner actress Poppy acted in the title role for several times in her two decades of film career. Poppy-starred many films got popularity. Her acting was also appreciated among the viewers.
Of those films, 'Bostir Rani Suriya', 'Megher Koley Rode', 'Garments Konnya', etc are mentionable. This time Poppy is going to act in title role in a movie again. Title of the movie is 'Yes Madam'.
Rokibul Alam Rokib will make the film. She was finally confirmed to work in this movie on her birthday, September 10. Without any preplanning Rokib has taken Poppy in his movie.
While talking about working in this movie Poppy said, "I was finally signed to work in movie 'Yes Madam' on my birthday. It was a great gift for me. Story of the films revolves with me.
Basically I agreed to work in this movie after hearing its story. If any offer comes to me I do not agree to work at first. After hearing story and role then I agree to work. 'Yes Madam' is such a film. I believe like other films it will also become a successful one."
Poppy also informed that after passing her birthday she went to Sylhet and passed some days there. Biennial election of Actors' Unity is scheduled to be held on October 18.
Poppy got appreciation to host BTV's 'Eid Ananda Mela' in last Eid. I have already finished shooting of Sadeque Siddiqui's film 'Sahoshi Joddha'. "If I get something different type of presentation then I will anchor shows in different TV channels," while talking about anchoring in TV shows Poppy said this.
Earlier, under Rokib's direction Poppy got huge appreciation to act against late hero Manna in film 'Shrestho Sontan'.
