Road accidents kill 2 in Kushtia
Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the district on Saturday (April 20).
The accidents happened at Trimohoni point on Kushtia bypass highway and Ranikhoria area on Kushtia-Pabana highway.
The deceased were identified as Sabul Mandol, a van driver, 45, son of Geda Mandol, of Mirzanagar area under Mirpur upazila of the district and Ramjan Molla, a pedestrian, 65, of Ranakhoria of the upazila.
One accident occurred between a truck and a birds-laden van at Trimohoni point around 6:30 am while another happened when a truck overturned at Ranakhoria area, Kushtia Highway police inspector Zainul Abedin, told Banglanews.
