64 held in Kushtia police drive
Police under various stations detained 64 persons in special drives launched in different upazilas of the district from Saturday (September 22) night to Sunday (September 23) morning.
26 Molotov cocktails, 5 petrol bombs, 85 pieces of yaba tablets, 350 grams of hemp, 2 liters of milk and 50 grams of heroin were seized during the drives.
Among the detainees, there are people who are accused in cases filed on charges of explosive, narcotics, and others.
Confirming the matter to Banglanews, Superintend of Police (SP) of Kushtia SM Tanvir Arafat said, “Police drive will be continued to maintain law and order situations.”
