RMG worker killed in Savar clash with cops
A garment worker was killed after a clash between readymade garment (RMG) factory workers and police at Savar, on the outskirts of capital Dhaka on Tuesday. 

Son of Amir Ali, deceased Sumon Mia, 22, was a resident of Sherpur district.  He was a worker of Anlima Textile Ltd in the area.

Witnesses said around 3.30pm, clashes broke out at Savar’s Ulail area, when police lobbed tear gas canister and opened fire to control a protest of RMG workers.

The body of Sumon was seen lying on the ground after the clash. He was rushed to the Savar Upazila Health Complex, where the doctors declared him dead.
