Rashid Khan releases latest single
Painter and singer Rashid Khan has released his latest single 'Ektu Ektu Kore' on his personal YouTube channel on November 4. An amateur painter, Rashid Khan started his music career in 2000 and continued till 2003.
'Ektu Ektu Kore' was recorded Studio Shadhin where Farsim Hossain did the mixing and mastering of the track. The track written, sung and composed by Rashid has been gaining appreciation for the fusion of his original tracks by blending traditional Bangla music with western blues.
The music video was shot by Michil Shaha. Samiul Momith was on drums, John Sharton on bass, Shaikh Salekin played the acoustic guitar and Riad Hasan provided the background vocals for the song.
He also directed the music video of the track, produced by 49 Blue Production House, which features Rashid and Nishat Priyom. "Singing is my hobby. I sing for myself and compose from my heart. I think the feelings of my lyrics are well expressed with blues. To be honest, I like the blues genre very much," said Rashid in a recent interview.
After a long break, Rashid came back to the music industry in 2010 and started working with blues in 2016. He released his first blues track 'Himu Hote Chai' back in 2017. His previous singles 'Himu Hote Chai' and 'Ami Amar Moto Bhalobashi' had gained wide popularity on YouTube.
