'We have organized the 'Femitoon' show to feature the works of creative artists from around the country. We sincerely hope that the cartoons will generate important seeds of awareness and catalyze our journey towards a society free of violence against women,' said Action Aid Bangladesh country director Farah Kabir.

'Cartoon is an easy mode of communication where everyone understands the message effortlessly. Action Aid Bangladesh chose a vital issue like violence against women where our cartoonists tried to portray a glimpse of the prevailing discrimination in society,' said Unmad editor Ahsan Habib.
