Fahmida composes song for Samina
Renowned singer Fahmida Nabi has composed a patriotic song for her younger sister Samina Chowdhury. Though the singer has earlier penned and composed around 35 songs, this is the first time she has composed for Samina. Samina has recently lent her voice to record the song that runs like 'O amar janmobhumi' at a studio at Dhanmondi in the capital.'I am happy to compose a song for Samina.
I was pleased when Samina shared her liking for the composition. I hope that the audience will enjoy the song and the album too,' said Fahmida Nabi.
The song, penned by Rana Masud, will be included in an upcoming album named 'Jiboner Joyogaan'. 'I am working for an album featuring patriotic songs. In this album, I have tried to portray history and culture of the country through songs,' said Fahmida Nabi. The album will also feature singers like Rafiqul Alam, Bappa Mazumder, Pintu Ghosh, Reshmi, Rituraj, Elita, Tashfi, Sukonna and Fahmida Nabi.
