Rajshahi division virus cases surpass 12,000
With detection of 218 new more great cases in Rajshahi division on Tuesday, the total number of COVID-19 infected patients reached 12,039.

Up to now 6,192 have recovered from Covid-19 in the division while 165 died from the virus infection.
Divisional Director of Wellbeing Dr Gopendra Nath Acharya said a substantial number of 71 extra people tested confident for coronavirus within a day on Bogura, taking the full total to 4,626.
The district-wise breakup of the division’s COVID-19 cases is as follows: 2,866 in Rajshahi, 416 in Chapainawabganj, 992 in Naogaon, 405 in Natore, 667 in Joypurhat, 1,315 in Sirajganj and 822 in Pabna.
Following confirmation of latest COVID-19 conditions, the respective residences of the infected folks in different areas in the division had been placed on 14-time isolation.
He said all the positive instances for the virus have, up to now, been brought under necessary treatment.
