Rajshahi division surpasses 10,000 coronavirus cases
With detection of 174 new more positive cases in Rajshahi division on Monday, the full total number of COVID-19 infected patients reached 10,163.
A daily report in Rajshahi in coronavirus confirmed the problem in the morning.
Up to now 4,483 have recovered from Covid-19 in the division while 133 died from the virus infection.
Divisional Director of Health Dr Gopendra Nath Acharya said a substantial number of 60 more persons tested positive for coronavirus within a day on Bogura, taking the full total to 4,180.
The district-wise breakup of the division’s COVID-19 cases is really as follows: 2,205 in Rajshahi, 291 in Chapainawabganj, 779 in Naogaon, 251 in Natore, 627 in Joypurhat, 1,059 in Sirajganj and 671 in Pabna.
Pursuing confirmation of new COVID-19 cases, the particular houses of the infected persons in several areas in the division were placed on 14-working day isolation.
He said all the positive cases for the virus have, so far, been brought under necessary treatment.
