Bridal boats capsize:A single killed, 30 missing
A child was killed and 30 people went missing as two boats carrying a bridal party capsized in the Padma River next to the Rajshahi city on Friday evening.
Details of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Locals said that the boats carrying around 40 passengers of a marriage ceremony from Khanpur village were heading towards Dayingarhat spot in Paba Upazila.
On the way, the boats capsized in Khanpur area at night.
Ten passengers were rescued following the incident.
Being informed, a staff of the Fire Assistance and Civil Security rushed there and conducting rescue procedure.
