Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday recited a good poem titled "Baba" authored by her young sister Sheikh Rehana on the celebration of the inauguration of the birth centenary of Daddy of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The recorded recitation was aired concurrently by all electronic press, including Bangladesh Tv (BTV), Bangladesh Betar, online and social media this evening.

Following is the poem:
Janmadine Pratibar Ektee Ful Diye
Shubhechcha Janano Chilo
Amar Sobcheye Anando.

Ar Kakhono Pabo Na Ei Sukh
Ar Kakhono Bolte Parbo Na
Shuvo Janmadin.
Keno Emon Holo?

Ke Debe Amar Prosner Uttar
Kothai Pabo Tomai . . .
Jodi Sandhya Tarader Majhe Thako
Akasher Dike Takiye Bolbo
Shuvo Janmadin.

Tumi Ki Miti Miti Jolbe?
Jadi Bishal Samudrer Samne
Dheuder Khelar Majhe Thako Bolbo
Shubho Janmadin.
Samudrer Garjone Shunbo Ki
Tomar Bajrokantho?

Paharer Churai Jekhane Megh
Neel Akashe Lukochuri Khele
Tumi Ki Okhane?
Takiye Bolbo
Shuvo Janmadin.

Ek Tukro Sada Megh Bheshe jabe
Okhane Ki Tumi?
Akashe Batashe Pahare Upatakyay
Tomake Khunjbo, Dakbo.

Je Protidhwani Hobe
Okhane Ki Tumi?
Shuvo Janmadin.
