None to be spared if goes astray: PM to Jubo League
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said none would be spared if diverted from right path.

She said this while opening the 7th national congress of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League at the historic Suhrawardi Udyan on Saturday (November 23).

Sheikh Hasina said: “The ongoing drives will be continued against terrorism, corruption and drugs. If anyone is diverted from right path, whoever he/she may be, I’ll not spare them. I’ll show no mercy to them.”

The premier said she works round-the-clock for the welfare of the people.

The premier urged the youths to stay away from terrorism, militancy, narcotics, and corruption, rather being concerned about having the mentality to do politics for the welfare of the people and the country without thinking much for personal gain.

The premier said: “One can be rich through corruption, increase pomp and splendor but they don’t get honor, love and affection from anyone.”

The premier asked the leaders and activists of the Jubo League to follow the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to be a politician.

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, Awami Jubo League Council Convening Committee Chairman Choyon Islam and its presidium member Mojibur Rahman Chowdhury also spoke on the occasion.
