No quota program from 40th BCS: PSC
Public Provider Commission (PSC) said quota program will no longer be applicable for prospects of the 40th BCS examinations relative to government’s decision.
The commission made the disclosure on Wednesday (July 1) after publishing the results of 38th BCS that was the last someone to allow the quota system.
Previously in Tuesday (June 30), PSC published the results of 38th BCS examination with a advice to appoint 2,204 candidates, said AEM Nesar Uddin, controller of examinations at PSC.
Following months-extended tough quota movement in October 3, 2018, the Cabinet division made a decision to scrap the quota program from the recruitment task in earliest and second class federal government jobs. Later the general public Administration Ministry released gazette notification in this respect.
