Nirob and his ventures
Nirob Hossain, who began his career as a model, is going great guns in the film industry. He made his silver screen debut through Shahin Shomon directed film 'Mon Jekhane Hridoy Sekhane'.

 Nirob has acted in many Dhallywood films like 'Eito Bhalobasha', 'Banglasia', 'Game', 'Bhola To Jay Na Tare' and 'Game Returns'. Besides, He also acted in an Indian film, directed by Sameer Khan.

The film stars Kavita Radheshyam, Meera and others. In an interview the actor talked about his upcoming ventures, future plans and more. 

Nirob starrer film 'Abbas' is now running across the country in 14 cinema halls. Abbas is a romantic thriller which revolves around an old-Dhaka based gangster named Abbas. The film portrays love, politics and social decay in a very intricate manner.

Nirob has played the protagonist Abbas in the film. Sohana Saba has acted opposite Nirob, while the film also stars Alexander Bo, Don, Elora Gohor, Somapti Masuk, Shimul Khan and Jairaj among others.

 'We have got outstanding response from the film lovers across the country. Film lovers thronged cinemas even when the Bangladesh vs Pakistan world cup match was underway. I am very happy with the audience turnout', Nirob replied when asked about the success of 'Abbas'. 

'But some of the cinemas are no longer screening the film and instead showcasing the imported Indian Bengali film Kidnap. The film kidnap has failed to draw the audience in cinemas,' Nirob added.

When asked how he felt acting opposite Sohana Saba for the first time, Nirob stated, 'It was a great experience. I enjoyed acting opposite her. She is a very skilled actress. I have learned a lot from her'.

While talking about his upcoming ventures, Nirob said, now I am busy shooting for three films namely 'Hridoy Jurey', 'Roudro Chhaya' and 'Officer'. 

The film titled 'Hridoy Jurey', directed by Rafiq Mishal, is a romantic thriller film where Priyanka Sarkar acts opposite Nirab. Bulbul Zilani directed film Roudro Chhaya revolves around a grandmother. The film stars actress Airin alongside Nirob. Bandhan Biswas directed 'Officer' stars actress Jolly and Nirob. The film will portray how the security forces save a country from both domestic and foreign enemies.

When asked about how the current condition of the film industry, Nirob said, 'There exists lack of discipline in the industry. The artistes, directors and producers along with others will have to work together to save the industry.'

When asked whether he has any plans to act in teleplays in future, Nirob replied, 'I don't have any plans to act in teleplays. However, if I get the offer to act in a good teleplay, I would never turn it down.'
