5 Dhallywood films to be remade
Five commercially successful Dhallywood films will be remade namely 'Beder Meye Josna', 'Moner Majhe Tumi', 'Molla Barir Bou', 'Garial Bhai' and 'Nosimon'. Bango BD will produce the films to boost the local film scene and generate interest of the younger generation in Bangla films.
'We are going to remake five Dhallywood films which are considered to be very popular among film lovers. I hope the films will make younger generation interested in Bangla films and bring viewers back to cinemas,' said Bango BD director Mushfiqur Rahman Ranju.
Firstly, we will remake 'Beder Meye Josna'. We are working on the screenplay of the film. The film will feature a new cast, along with digital technology,' said Ranju.
'We will announce the names of the directors, actors and actresses as soon as possible. We want to release 'Beder Meye Josna' this year while remakes of 'Moner Majhe Tumi', 'Molla Barir Bou', 'Garial Bhai' and 'Nosimon' will be released by 2020,' added Ranju.
