NGO worker killed in Barishal accident
An NGO worker was killed in a road accident on Saturday evening near Barishal Airport intersection on Barishal–Dhaka Highway.
The victim was identified as Saikat Guha, 30, son of Daniel Guha of Patihar village of Agailjhara upazila. He is working in “Padakhep” NGO at Babuganj upazila.
The accident occurred on Saturday evening when a Rajshahi-bound passenger bus of “Padma Paribahan” coming from Barishal rammed motorcycle of Saikat leaving him dead on the spot.
