Nafees Iqbal cleared by corona scare
Former Bangladesh opener Nafees Iqbal informed over Wednesday that he previously been tested negative for coronavirus.
Nafees said that he and his members of the family that include his mom wife and children are safe now.
The 34-year-old also urged everyone to pray for their well being.
"Assalamualaikum everyone. Everyone all of us, my family, my mother most of us tested detrimental. Hence Alhamdulillah. All for your prayers, how you have taken care, how you took information, not merely as a journalist but also showed your ideas, your care privately and I am sure you have prayed, as a result of which I may have been bad," Nafees Iqbal informed reporters on Wednesday.
"As a result do the prayer in this manner. Many thanks so much. Many thanks from underneath of my heart. Many thanks on behalf of my children," he added.
Nafees may be the elder brother of current ODI skipper and in addition another veteran & most successful opener of Bangladesh Tamim Iqbal, confirmed coronavirus great on 20 June.
He and his members of the family had been in isolation in Chittagong prior to the report emerged as negative.
The right-hander former opening batsman made his debut for Bangladesh in 2003.
Nafees played 11 Lab tests and 16 ODIs for Bangladesh, scoring 518 and 309 runs respectively.
