Virus loss of life toll climbs to 1 1,888 with 41 more
Bangladesh's COVID-19 death toll climbed to at least one 1,888 on Wednesday as 41 persons died in last a day.
Meanwhile, 3,775 even more confirmed cases reported after assessment 17,875 samples in 69 labs across region, Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Solutions (DGHS) Prof Dr Nasima Sultana said in the daily bulletin this afternoon.
Now, the amount of positive cases reached 1,49,298.
Dr Nasima informed that yet another laboratory has been setup in Gazipur for corona check.
The DGHS requested all to understand snake bite and drowning during flood. Additionally it is working in flood-affected areas.
Some 2,484 more patients made recovery from the deadly virus, raising the total recovery number to 62,108
