MP Haji Salim's wife Gulshan Ara dies
Gulshan Ara Begum, wife of lawmaker Haji Salim, passed on at a hospital in the administrative centre on Sunday night. She was 50.
She died around 11:45pm at Labaid Hospital, Haji Salim's personal secretary Mohiuddin Billal confirmed the news headlines to media on Monday.
Gulshan Ara, the chairman of Medina Group, have been suffering from many diseases including diabetes and kidney problem and undergoing treatment at the hospital since August.
Her namaj-e-janaza will get held at Chawkbazar Jam-e Mosque after Asr prayer.
On October 26, Erfan Salim, a ward councillor and child of Haji Salim, was jailed for just one season imprisonment for possessing against the law arms and drugs.
